The Mindful Garden Experience

Imagine stepping into a garden where the only assignment is to be curious.

Every session at The Mindful Garden Club is designed to meet children where they are — honoring their natural curiosity and giving them tools to grow academically, creatively, and emotionally.

At The Mindful Garden Club, children begin each session by taking a deep breath, finding their happy place, and noticing the world around them. This is where learning starts with presence and wonder.

Planting & Growing Events

Children get their hands in the soil, learning about plant life cycles, seasonal changes, and the science of growing things. Every garden lesson naturally weaves in math (measuring, counting seeds), science (observation, hypotheses), and ELA (vocabulary, descriptive language).

Creating & Expressing

Our garden themed activities allow children the opportunity to move into creative projects inspired by what they've observed. They draw flowers they've studied, paint landscapes, and craft nature collages. Art becomes a way to process learning and express ideas in their own unique way.

Journaling & Reflecting

Guided journaling prompts invite children to write or draw about their experiences. What did they notice today? What surprised them? How do they feel? Journaling builds literacy skills while encouraging self-reflection and emotional awareness.

Breathing & Being

Simple mindfulness practices are woven throughout each session. Children learn belly breathing, do gentle stretches, and practice sensory observations — like listening for bird songs or feeling different textures in the garden. These practices build calm, focus, and resilience.

A day in our garden — where every moment is a lesson.
