About Us
Meet Stephanie
Hi, I'm Stephanie.
I am a certified educator with over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping young children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
My experience extends beyond the classroom. I have worked as an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS), supporting the growth and development of young children during their most critical learning years. I also successfully owned and operated a childcare facility, where I gained valuable experience partnering with families and creating nurturing learning environments that support the whole child.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Integrative Health with an emphasis on Stress Management and Wellness. This unique combination of education and wellness allows me to support not only literacy development, but also the confidence, self-regulation, and positive learning habits that help children thrive academically and emotionally.
At The Mindful Garden Club™, I specialize in working with Pre-K through 1st-grade students using evidence-based, Science of Reading-aligned instruction. I incorporate structured literacy approaches, including UFLI Foundations® and Heggerty®, to provide personalized instruction and ongoing progress monitoring tailored to each child's individual needs.
As both an educator and a parent, I understand that every child develops at their own pace. My goal is to create a positive learning experience where children feel encouraged, capable, and excited to grow. At The Mindful Garden Club™, I believe that every child has the potential to grow and flourish when given the right tools, encouragement, and guidance.
Philosophy
Rooted in Purpose. Rising with Intention.
I believe every child has the ability to flourish when given the right support, encouragement, and opportunities to succeed. Through literacy, confidence-building, and meaningful connections, my mission is to help young learners develop the skills they need to become confident readers and lifelong learners.
“When children slow down and listen to the world around them, they discover something beautiful — themselves.”
